Now I readily admit that, on average, women cannot do everything men can - there are some biological limitations - but I get incredibly upset when I am told, “You shouldn’t do it, you are a girl!”. Who sets the (insert expletives)* rules?
*I made the mistake of telling my priest that my Lenten promise this year is to swear less often. My priest believes that a commitment at Lent is a commitment for life. To be fair I made this commitment myself.
