When The Public Theater did King Lear in Central Park in 2007, the production featured incidental music by Stephen Sondheim and Michael Starobin. It included this setting of Shakespeare’s Sonnet 43 by Sondheim, performed here by Mary Testa with Starobin at the piano, from their 2010 cabaret show Clasically Speaking.
