Laura Michelle Kelly sings “Losing My Mind”.
A completely unexpected interpretation that actually seems to hit all the right notes for me. In this version, the insanity is embraced and is almost freeing. Plus, Laura Michelle Kelly is a goddess.
Very interesting. It feels very “end of a summer romance” like.
I love this in a “so wrong it’s right” kind of way that is still entirely different from the Liza/Pet Shop Boys “so wrong it’s right” or the Dame Edna “so wrong it’s right” take on the song.
(Kind of want to investigate the rest of this album now.)
One feels this rendition wouldn’t be out of place playing over a montage of Zoë Deschanel eating ice cream from the container in front of her television, getting a make over, and whatever other “sad single lady” tropes you can imagine.
I…like this? Like, I really like this.
Not crazy about this interpretation, but I commend it for its originality.
Let’s never forget that this happened and it’s weird as hell and I love it.
I kinda love this.
Surprised how much I love this.
Why is she so amazing?
Wow. I wasn’t expecting that! I weirdly love it.
I seriously did not expect that sound to come out when I pressed play. Part of me is like: this is pretty awesome,...
I LOVE this arrangement!!
This is kind of weird but I sort of like it.
